Ruby is soon going to be 2 and liliputians had the honor of making a birthday outfit for her special day.
Who’s Ruby you might be asking? Ruby is the daughter of Lizabeth Sorenson, editor of THE DAILY STROLL. What’s the Daily Stroll, you now ask? Quoting the site, “The Daily Stroll is the IT site for parents who love style, their kids and editor-in-chief, Lizabeth Sorensen’s wit and humor.”
It really is. I’ve been a faithful reader for some time and now I’m a tickled pink, faithful reader.

Just thought I should mention some improvements I’ve recently made to the liliputians boutique. It’s been a real construction zone, but my work is done for now.
To make it easier to navigate, there are fewer categories on the main page of the boutique. Now there are just 6 main categories to choose from: GIRLS, BOYS, MOMMY & ME, BARRETTES, GIFT CERTIFICATES, and a VIEW ALL option. From there, the choices expand within each category and they now have photos to go with each link. Hopefully this will make it quicker for you to find what you’re looking for!
There is also a nifty new feature. Once you’ve selected a category from the main boutique page, look at the bottom of the page. It will say “New Products for June.” One click and you can see all my new designs in the order they were added to the boutique.
I have more construction projects planned for the site and suggestions are always welcome!
KITSCHY KITCHEN was inspired by this great retro fabric that had been in my sewing armoire for a while. It’s original purpose was, well, for my kitchen. Since it has been rainy lately, the colorful fabric inspired me to create something fun and original to brighten our gloomy day. It sure did the trick!
The first set is a cute little dress with so many details I don’t know where to start. How about with the retro appliance print fabric, the red rolled edge hems, the shirred and ruffled neckline and sleeves, the yellow polka dot ribbon and red ric rac edging accents?
The second is a two-piece set that can be mixed and matched with the first. There are bloomers in a print of tiny white polka dots on red. A pinafore style dress with a shirred bodice and straps, jadeite green ric rac accent band, and a full circle skirt with a print of June Cleaver looking housewives in the kitchen decorating cakes. Mmmmmmmm!
These new designs will be added to the liliputians boutique, but first will be sold on ebay. As with most of my auctions, I start the bidding low (HALF PRICE!) in the spirit of ebay, giving people a chance for a bargain price on a new liliputians design. So click on over and start bidding!
Retro Zoo Animals is the latest liliputians design for boys. This two-piece pants set is perfect for late summer and fall. It could even be worn in winter since the appliqued shirt is available in long sleeves too.

Taylor is one of our new models for our expanding boys line. He hails from Texas and will be one year old this September. Isn’t he a cutie?
Due to numerous requests from my customers, liliputians now has many more offerings for boys. Several new designs were added today and there are just as many more in the works.
