Liliputians welcomes children’s boutique Jen Klair Kids as our newest retailer. This upscale boutique offers an enormous selection of beautifully crafted, luxurious baby gifts, clothing, baby blankets, cribs, bedding and maternity wear.
Jen Klair Kids offers over 2000 unique items to choose from. Some of their luxurious products were founds in the 2006 SAG Awards gift baskets and can be seen in such publications as Cookie, Child, Southern Baby and Pregnancy magazine. So if you want to give your child the same as celebrity moms & dads as Kate Hudson, Gwen Stefani, Gwyneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Britney Spears, and Patricia Arquette do, this is the place to shop.
And if that’s not reason enough, Jen Klair Kids also donates to the charity Binky Patrol, an all volunteer, non-profit organization that distributes homemade blankets to children in need.
All liliputians designs are limited editions with some available in greater numbers. A lot of factors come into play; how much fabric is available (I tend to prefer hard-to-find out-of-print or vintage fabrics), what sizes were ordered (larger sizes use more fabric) and the design itself (ruffles use sooo much fabric!). To help avoid disappointment, 2 new categories have been created in the liliputians boutique to let shoppers know that they better buy it now if they want it.
The JUST 1 LEFT category shows the creations for girls that are almost gone. The ONLY 1 LEFT category highlights the designs for boys that are in extremely limited supply. Designs will be added to the appropriate category as they sell out so there will always be something new that there is just one of.
Today was a double whammy for liliputians with two really nice reviews on two really great blogs.
Mom Finds, a 100% editorial and unbiased product review blog for expecting and experienced parents, wrote about liliputians’ appliqued Zodiac Shirts. If a better look at the cute photo that accompanied the article isn’t enough to make you check out the site, how about the 15% liliputians coupon for Mom Finds readers?
WAHM Spotlight, a unique and inspiring site that features work-at-home moms and their businesses, wrote about liliputians’ outfits for boys for their Tuesdays Trendy Tots feature. The Birthday Monkey Business reversible pants set and the Gnome Gone Fishing appliqued jeans set were both mentioned.
Boutique Mom is a really fun blog that I recently discovered when traversing around on the web. Its creator is Candi, a writer, editor and stay-at-home mom (she sounds as busy as me!). I was hooked before the liliputians PEACE LOVE & DENIM Appliqued Jeans Set was featured, but now I’m really a fan.
The focus of Boutique Mom is on woman/mom/family owned businesses with the site celebrating original and handcrafted products. I find the site an easy read and a way to discover creations that I wouldn’t probably have known of without Candi featuring them.

I recently discovered 5 Minutes for Mom (when I was lucky enough to actually have 5 free minutes!) and knew I needed to share it with other moms. This mom-run web site has embraced the fact that most mothers are crunched for time (like me) and caters to the busy, internet-savvy mother by helping her make the most of her online time.
5 Minutes for Mom is a one-stop shop with several easy to use directories. There is a Shopping Directory which not only lists large retailers but highlights mom-owned shops (like liliputians who was just given their Great Site Award). There is a Mom-Run Website Directory and a Shopping Consultant Directory, making it easy for a shopper to support momtrepreneurs.
There is also a directory of Reader’s Blogs that is broken down into categories. The site also has its own blog, which has such encouraging and helpful topics like Tackle it Tuesday, Faith Lifts, and Tagging Tips for Bloggers.
