Black Velvet and Scarlet Ruffles for the holidays!

Liliputians holiday outfits, particularly this elegant ensemble, have recently gotten some attention. Check out the liliputians Press page to read what Kid’s Fashion writer Michelle Kouzmine of about.com and Susan of 5 Minutes for Mom had to say.

The liliputians NYC boutique will now be offering free gift wrapping on all purchases. Just indicate at check-out (in the comments box) that you would like your liliputians creations wrapped. If you would like occasion-specific wrapping paper, just let me know.

This time of year is hectic enough, so leave the present wrapping to me!

Candy Stripes is the outfit that started it all. It is one of the first liliputians designs and really the catalyst for the entire line and even the web site. Funny thing is, it was never sold on www.liliputians-nyc.com, due to the fabric being out-of-print and impossible to find.

Candy Stripes is a colorful little ensemble consisting of striped pants in hues of cotton candy pink, salt water taffy green, and black licorice that are paired with a ruffled shirt in a vintage candy and sweets print.

The big news is that it is now available in the liliputians boutique. I was able to purchase a limited amount of the fabric for this fun outfit. It’s available as a set, or with the pants and shirt available separately. So get your serving of candy striped dessert while it lasts!

So now let me tell you a little about Classy Mommy. Like many other mom-focused web sites, Classy Mommy reviews gotta-have products (such as liliputians cupcake birthday shirt) on its blog and through its video product reviews. What sets Classy Mommy apart from the other sites is its product finder, partnership with numerous retailers of maternity, baby and parenting-related products, and its pledge to give all earnings directly to charity.

Another birthday was brightened by liliputians and now the liliputians Happy Customers page has been brightened by the birthday girl’s picture. Thanks Joanne for sharing a picture of the special day!

I know, it’s not even Halloween yet, but Thanksgiving and (yikes!) Christmas are both right around the corner. So new holiday designs for both occasions have been added to the liliputians boutique.

For Thanksgiving there are two special, yet very comfy, outfits. The dress set and the pants set are both ON SALE and only available in limited quantity - just one left of each! The cute appliquéd shirt with the vintage sentiments is also available separately. Or if you’d like a one-of-a-kind outfit made from this vintage Thanksgiving greetings fabric, custom orders are always welcome. I just made a ruffled skirt and appliquéd shirt set for a special customer that turned out gorgeous!

For Christmas, a cute little lounge set, TAXI SANTA, was also added. This fun outfit is like outfits in one with its reversible pants and a ruffled, appliquéd tee of a Christmas tree in a little red wagon.

And the holidays aren’t complete without gingerbread & Christmas trees! There are appliquéd tees gingerbread men for all appetites - large & mini.

And last but not least is the whimsical Christmas tree twirl skirt set, a festive green tiered circle skirt with over 130 button “ornaments” and a matching appliquéd shirt. Wow!

Who is Luna Lou?
