The first ever Aspen Swag Bag was given out to celebs visiting Aspen this holiday season and liliputians NYC was thrilled to be part of the fun. Each bag was filled with unique items and goodies from several indie designers and businesses.

So what did each Aspen Swag Bag recipient receive? All the yummy items were in an eco-friendly OlovesM bag exclusively created for the event. Filling the bag was swag from Growing Up With Style, Berit Designs, Weekend Jewelry, Tutti Fruity Designs, Laboratoire Remède, Rosaries and Jewelry by Laura, Larabar, AYU International, Spa Systems, Orange Peel Baby, Artful Sentiments, Fête, and last but not least, liliputians NYC (a fun pair of dolly barrettes).
Meow! Liliputians NYC has a fun new design for your little cat loving art aficionado.

Matisse Kitty Catisse is a two-piece jeans set with an appliqued shirt in the style of Matisse (or should I say Catisse). The decoupaged denim jeans are covered with a gallery of appliques of cat-themed spoofs of art masterpieces. There’s Picatso, Edvard Munch’s “The Meow,” Catphrodite, Catty Warhol, Catisse, the Mona Catisa and others. Each pair is made to order and unique so no two pairs will be exactly alike.
Yes, the big guerilla that invaded NYC is the theme of the newest liliputians’ boys set. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Blue Plaid Kong is a 2 piece pants set (also available as separates) comprised of an appliqued shirt (available in long or short sleeves) and cozy and colorful reversible pants. It’s essentially 2 outfits in one!
The buzz is that liliputians NYC was just one of the Five Finds on a cool new blog called Asian Buzz. Asian Buzz showcases Asian-run businesses, cool Asian products, resources and events. So it’s not surprising that they chose the liliputians Butterflies, Cherry Blossoms, & Kimono Girls Asian Dress to feature along with some other great indie creations (loving that obi belt!).

Thanks Asian Buzz! And remember that you don’t have to be Asian to stop by.
A lot of traffic has been coming to liliputians from a fun blog with a little bit of an edge. It’s called Sweet Juniper. I hadn’t heard of it before noticing the address in my site’s stats, but really like it and have a feeling I’ll be checking in regularly to see what’s new with Dutch, Wood and little Juniper.

Thanks Dutch for including liliputians NYC in your 2006 Holiday Shopping Guide for the Anti-Materialist Indie Sonofabitch Parent. It’s the coolest holiday list I’ve come across (and not just because liliputians NYC is included). It’s like the Zagat’s for online shopping for handmade clothes, toys, dolls and other fun, crafty, indie creations. Wow!
Liliputians NYC has made the grade again. About.com’s Kids’ Fashion expert Michelle Kouzmine has included the liliputians Oh Christmas Tree Twirl Skirt Set as one of her picks for the top seven festive and fun Christmas clothes for girls. Look we’re number 2! Thanks Michelle.
Vegas baby! Yes, the funtime mecca, is the inspiration for the newest liliputians NYC girls Viva Las Vegas pants set.
The pants are made from colorful fabric of fabulous showgirls, cards, dice and other Vegas motifs. They have a full double ruffle of black and white polka dots and a snazzy hot pink leopard print, each with a contrasting red rolled edge hem.

The shirt is simple and sweet with its Vegas-themed applique of cards, dice, and a poker chip. The contrasting red lettuce edge ruffled sleeves give it just enough girly flair.

So viva Las Vegas . . . thank you, thank you very much.
