As a small business owner, when I need something new I always first look at the designs from other indie business and designers. That was how I found Yatta.

If you’re looking for a wallet or new check book cover that has personality and is colorful, a little different and well made, then this is the site to visit. There are also many designs to choose from as well as different sizes. Ya gotta love Yatta!

Some of you may have already noticed a funky new addition to the liliputians NYC boutique last week. Available as both a set and separates this new artsy creation is for both ladies and little girls. Now you can match in funky style!

The shirt is Frida Kahlo inspired, and has a layered applique of several different individually appliqued elements; an angel, bandana paisley, a colorful rose, yellow and blue tropical flowers, and a heart front and center. It’s given a three dimensional aspect with a little cream colored satin ribbon bow and a metal button with a portait of Frida Kahlo over the heart at the center. It will be custom made for ladies and for little and big girls in long or short sleeves.

The decoupage denim jeans are hand appliqued with dozens of intricate elements, each sewn with decorative stitching, forming a funky, folkloric pattern on the legs. Appliques include Frida Kahlo motifs and votives, angels, corozones, tropical South American flowers, and funky bandana paisleys. There is even a 3-dimensional aspect with ribbon roses in Frida’s hair.
