Arrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Pirate Bobby, the newest liliputians model, has invaded liliput and brought some pirate themed fashions with him.

Available as an outfit or as separates, this set is sure to make your little guy the envy of all pirates. The shirt has a detailed appliqued Jolly Roger design emblazoned on the front of a black fitted tee. The matching pants are made from a tough Skull and Cross Bones print and contrasting treasure map fabric used for the frayed-edge knee patches, front pockets, and back (faux) pocket flaps.

Birthday Monkey Business and other liliputians birthday outfits, were recently featured on indie galore.

Indie Galore is a blog focusing on indie businesses and their crafty goodies. It is run by Jenn, a crafty girl that sounds even busier than me! She makes jewelry, knits colorful hats, scarves, bags & other goodies, makes cards and does other graphic design, and even designs web sites.

For those who also suffer from serious bag fetishes, there is help in sight. Bagadoodle.

Bagadoodle is an online boutique offering handmade purses (as well as the most gorgeous quilted belts, jewelry, aprons & other goodies) from indie designers. I recently discovered the site and wanted to share it with my style savvy readers who appreciate quality goods that aren’t mass produced.

Oh, and best of all, the admiration is mutual. Bagadoodle has a blog and included a nice little write up on liliputians the other day. Featured was the Birthday Cakes Set as well as Folklore Fiesta Set and some other past liliputians’ designs.

Thanks to Trunkt for the surprise inclusion on their blog. What was included you ask?

Along with some other great indie creations, the liliputians’ Pop Art Marilyn Monroe Norma Jeans were featured. There are just a few pairs left (for mama or little girl) before these wearable works of art are gone for good . . . or like a candle in the wind I should say.

Not a fan of big bows, never have been. To each their own, but we don’t wear them or make them. So what does a style savvy girl wear in her hair with her liliputians couture?

BITTY BARRETTES! These petite hair clips may be tiny in size (all are made from ribbon wrapped 1-3/4 inch alligator clips) but have big style. There is an assortment of styles, some are simple where it’s all about the funky ribbon. For those who like a little sparkle, there are bling barrettes. There are classic hair flowers, some even have a butterfly or ladybug accent. And last but not least, are the liliputians nature barrettes. Think butterflies, ladybugs, bumblebees, tiny birds, and grasshoppers!

Yes, grasshopper, you read right! Grasshoppers. Cool Mom Picks just gave them and liliputians’ retailer Purple Pink and Orange their stamp of approval (and the great title as the The World’s Least Girlie Barrettes - thanks, we love that!).
