Two fresh birthday cake themed creations are being served up in the liliputians bakery. Polka doted pin wale corduroy along with birthday cake and number appliques are the special ingredients that set these yummy designs apart.

Fall birthday girls can choose between a skirt set or the groovy bell bottom pants set. Both come with a brown and pink polka dot, ruffled hem number shirt (available with numbers 1-8).

Friday’s mail brought us the July issue of our favorite resource for the children’s clothing industry, Earnshaw’s magazine. We knew that a liliputians birthday outfit was going to be included. We just didn’t know which one of our new birthday designs for fall it would be since we had sent several samples of both girls and boys birthday outfits.

So which one was chosen?Tossed Birthday Numbers! This fun boys birthday outfit is classic yet funky at the same time. The striped pants are in classic rich fall colors with an unexpected dash of whimsy with their contrasting hem of retro tossed numbers in blue. A matching fitted style shirt in chocolate brown has a large scale number applique made from the blue tossed numbers fabric with decorative top stitching in brown for added style. The shirt is custom made and available with numbers 1 through 8 appliques.

And he’s wearing the cutest cowboy ensemble liliputians has made yet! Cowboy Stuff is a fun western-themed outfit for little guys. Available separately too, the Deputy Marshall shirt is a real classic with its sherriff’s badge applique. The matching Cowboy Stuff pants are a fun and colorful print that is accented with faux suede fringe down the legs. So giddy-up on over to the liliputians corral for some fun new fall fashions!

Yes. You heard right! We’ve started adding the first of our fall line to the liliputians boutique and we started with our fun Halloween outfits for girls (boys to soon follow).

More cute than scary, the candy themed skirt set and bloomer set will be able to be worn on more than just Halloween. They are also available as separates; the candy necklace or candy face shirts and the fun candy pants or candy skirt.

And back by request and in very limited supply is the Halloween Faces outfit and silly Halloween Faces shirt for those who prefer a more traditional orange and black look for Halloween.

Yesterday’s mail was the best! We received our summer issue of BABY COUTURE magazine and it was even more of a treat than usual. Gracing pages 54 and 59 were two ensembles from liliputians!

On page 54 is the liliputians Peacock Parade Dress. One of our favorites and best sellers, this vibrantly hued dress is almost sold out. So you better hurry! On page 59 is the liliputians Beatnik Tiki Outfit for boys. The appliqued shirt has a silly tiki face sure to make your little guy smile and the reversible pants come in a funky, retro print.

For both little and big girls, the Frida Kahlo Inspired skirt is my perennial favorite of the liliputians boutique. Lily and I wear ours constantly and still get compliments every time. It’s amazing how many Frida fans and art-lovers there are. And then there are also the people who just like the skirt and aren’t that familiar with Frida (or at least yet).

Today I received this really great photo from a hula-hooping, happy customer, artist, and all-around fun girl, Emily of Crazy Cakes. Emily ordered a Frida skirt with a variation. Instead of the contrast band at the bottom hem, her skirt has a black ruffle for more swing. All the better for hula hooping . . .

The first of liliputians fall 07 line is here and nothing like starting the season with a big BANG! This fun outfit is for boys, super boys that is! Super Kid, is a pants set consisting of a custom initial shirt and super hero stripes contrast cuff pants.

Welcome to the newest liliputians retailer, Ms Lulus, a boutique offering unique gifts, clothes and accessories for babies, children and women.  This fun store is located in downtown Portland, Maine (at 3 Gold Street to be exact).  They have a tremendous selection of designer goods, including a large selection from the liliputians line.  I haven’t been lucky enough to visit or meet owner Sarah Dolloff in person, so stop by for me if you happen to be in Portland!
