Halloween Parade, a new applique Halloween outfit by liliputians, was just highlighted (along with liliputians retailer The Silly Wagon) on Simply Silhouettes.  I wasn’t aware of Simply Silhouettes prior to the attention they gave the liliputians silhouette applique shirt and skirt, but I am so glad I stumbled upon this cool blog.  There are some really neat finds that I haven’t seen anywhere else before.

Namaste to two zen like outfits in the liliputians boutique. All are perfect for your little yogini and zen mama too. The chocolate brown appliqued Buddha hoodie and yoga pants with “namaste” down the leg are perfect for those casual days . . . and downward dogs, cobras, warriors and tree poses.

Have some mother daughter matchy matchy goodness with the appliqued Buddha tees; hot pink for girl and chocolate brown for mama.

For a little dressier looking outfit, the colorful Buddha print with contrasting lotus blossom hem skirt is super sweet! (And yes, an A-line skirt for women of the same prints will soon be available.)

In honor of TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY, (on September 19th) liliputians has unveiled its first pirate themed birthday shirt (matching applique jeans are in the works as we speak) in the liliputians boys birthday collection.

Liliputians, or I guess I should say me Heather Flottmann, is the designer of the week this week on Journal Modiste. Well the first day of school came and went with my daughter Lily thrilled to be back in the classroom.

She’s a big girl and staying all day this year (her second year of pre-k at Montessori school). On the first day of classes, she wore her special new outfit made for the occasion. SCHOOL IS COOL is a fun school themed skirt outfit of a personalized name shirt in an apple dot print and a coordinating skirt of two fun fabrics; apple dots and fun sayings on chalkboard. Yellow apple print grosgrain ribbon is used as a fun accent on the skirt and for the matching barrettes. We give it an A+.

Congratulations are in order for liliputians retailer Starlooks Boutique. They just were the focus of a very complimentary write up by Lipstick to Crayons. Starlooks Boutique features a wide variety of products for babies, toddlers, girls & boys & parents too, with the majority of their offerings being handmade and MADE IN USA goods (liliputians fits the bill on both accounts).

We were happy to hear about the much deserved attention they received as well as the unexpected surprise of finding out that the liliputians Strawberry Icing Ruffles Birthday Outfit was mentioned/pictured among their numerous offerings.
