Vintage Growth Charts to Grow in Style & Tick-Tock Go Our Retro Clocks

Since liliputians has birthdays, holidays and everyday covered with our fun clothes and accessories, we’ve been asked why we don’t offer cool kids (and for the kid-in-all-of-us) room stuff too. Lotsa Buzz About Liliputians Kitschy Kitschy Cute Gnome Shirts

We were tickled when they were drooled on by a blogger at Droolicious on the Babble website. The fishing gnome shirt got most of the attention, so we wanted to mention the other little guys here so no one feels left out! New Boys Birthday Shirts!

Liliputians has added 3 new boys birthday shirts to our boutique!

Arrrrrr! There are two new designs for your little pirate. Both shirts come with a bounty of pirate ships (well they have as many ships in their floatilla as their birthday) and an applique of their birthday number (choose from 1-8). The difference is in the details. One shirt has a Jolly Rogers theme for the number and the other has a Treasure Maps motif. Both come in your choice of colors, sleeve length, and sizes.

Vrrrroooom! For your little grease monkey is a hot rod themed birthday shirt. A large scale racing number of checkered flags print fabric is complimented by the same number of flaming hot rod race cars. It comes on a black shirt in your choice of long or short sleeves and sizes.

TWIST OF FATE, The Best New Children’s Horse Book

Twist of Fate: The Miracle Colt and His Friends is a beautifully told story and new signed childrens book that is now being sold at liliputians. It’s a story of hope and the story of what happened after a tractor-trailer carrying forty-two horses flipped over on Interstate 44 in rural Missouri in September of 2006. Only twenty-six of the animals survived, including a pregnant mare.

Twist of Fate: The Miracle Colt and His Friends is told by Twister, the unborn colt at the time of the accident, and portrays the experience of the surviving animals and how they came to live at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch, a haven for neglected animals. Gorgeous illustrations (done by illustrator Kevin Belford) of the 165-acre farm show Twister making friends and discovering his surroundings. Sidebars add another dimension to the book with introducing five of the other survivors and giving more depth to the story.

Author and life long horse-love Chris Stuckenschneider said, “I was so shocked by the accident. I couldn’t believe it. The story (of the accident) was so sad, but there were so many people who came together to save these horses – it was touching. And from this tragic story comes a glimmer of hope with the colt being born. I fell in love with the whole idea of this story and the (Longmeadow) facility. I knew it would be a challenge to tell such a complex story to children, but felt it was a story that had to be told. The story is dramatic, full of hope and inspiration, and best of all, it’s true.”

Ye-Haw It’s a Buckaroo Birthday with our Retro, Western Cowgirl Birthday Outfits

Ye-haw! Liliputians has two new fun designs for your lil’ cowgirl. It can be a birthday hoe-down with the Buckaroo Birthday skirt outfit or pants set.

Both are simple and sweet, retro and classic. Your cowgirl can celebrate her big day in the birthday number shirt. Red bandanna fabric is used for the Western font number (choose from 1-8). Fitted style cotton knit shirt is available in long or short sleeves and in several colors. The coordinating skirt has a fun fabric with two cowgirls and two cowboys celebrate on their rearing horses with rope font “Happy Birthday” on the front and back. A red bandanna print ruffle adds some girly flair. Mix and match with the ruffled pants in the red bandanna print and the fun cowgirl and cowboy appliques on each pants leg.
