One of our new favorite blogs, This Mom Knows, just did a fun post about all things cupcake. Included are cupcake party invitations, cupcake cake pans, cupcake games, and cupcake clothes (that’s where liliputians NYC fits in with one of our cupcake birthday outfits).
Obviously we’re already obsessed with cupcakes here in liliput, with so many cupcake designs so this article really caught my eye. I’m now obsessed with the giant cupcake cake pan and now just need to think of an occasion that calls for a giant cupcake!
So all you smart and successful parents out there probably know of a place just for you. It has the appropriate moniker of, well, Clever Parents. We were already fans of this web site, but now even more so since liliputians NYC was named as their boutique of the week.

In addition to featuring parentpreneurs (like me), Clever Parents also has articles about health, food, cities & kids, and just making the most of each day with your family. You can’t beat that!
This Mom Knows is a fun new blog that I’ve already become a regular reader of. It’s written by Whitney; a mom of 2 kiddos, a workaholic entrepreneur and has the same silly, quirky and tongue-in-cheek humor that I have. She has great taste and somehow manages to find the most amazing finds online despite her already overburdened schedule.
The mom that knows, knows liliputians . . . and loves liliputians . . . enough to give us a great write-up. Thanks! I’m so glad to say that this mom knows the mom in the know.

Liliputians has made the list again! What list you ask? Michelle Kouzmine, kids fashion writer for about.com, does an annual list called Best Halloween Tees for Kids. Liliputians was on last year’s list and is number 3 this year.

Her picks? Our Candy Face and Jack O’Lantern inspired Halloween Face tees. Spooktacular!
Liliputians had the nicest surprise of seeing one of our new designs written about on The Daily Stroll, THE original online publication (and my favorite!) for the best scoop on baby, toddler, maternity & parenting goods.

Our Peas Peace Sign infant gown was featured (also available on shirts for big boys and girls) and accompanied by its vibrant photo. Thanks for the shout-out Liz! Peas out.
Liliputians NYC has had the good fortune of being the subject of the Lucky Kid feature on the trend-spotting site Pinks and Blues. Pinks and Blues is the “place for Trendy and Ultra-Hip Daily Family Picks” with a pick for each day; lucky mama, lucky baby, lucky dad, etc., etc. You get the idea.
So, what caught their eye? Our Birthday Outfits! They wrote about the liliputians birthday outfits for both boys and girls. And they couldn’t have said it better, for those “other 364 special days, Liliputians NYC offers so much more for lucky boys, girls and mommies.”
Indie Babies is THE place to find beautiful and original baby stuff and ALL of it is Indie Made. They preview, review and sift through the endless stream of baby goods to find only the coolest, best and handcrafted items to feature. Not to mention, there is a seemingly never ending supply of cool prizes they always seem to give away. I’ve been a fan of the site for a while and am tickled to see the Indie Babies spotlight shined at liliputians NYC today. Thanks Indie Babies!
When I get a chance I like to google “liliputians NYC” every couple of weeks just to see our ranking, what pages google thinks are attention worthy, and if we’ve gotten any press that we weren’t aware of or missed in our stats. Well our latest internet interloping was full of good surprises. We’ve gotten some attention from some really great sites!
Indie Love showed liliputians some love with a nice post about our Ducky Sunshine & Tiny Dots Outfit. We love this blog - so many fab creations by indie designers!

Blogger My Mom Shops shopped at Little Boy Blue Boutique and bought two liliputians birthday outfits; the Pink & Brown Cupcake Polka Dot Outfit for her little girl and the Mod Birthday Numbers Outfit for her little guy. She wrote about her purchases on her great shopping blog. We hope their birthday party was perfect!

And last but not least, we see that there was more babble about liliputians on Babble Magazine’s blog de.licio.us. The Super Kid Initial Shirt and coordinating Super Hero Pants caught blogger Mir’s eye.
Friday’s mail brought us the July issue of our favorite resource for the children’s clothing industry, Earnshaw’s magazine. We knew that a liliputians birthday outfit was going to be included. We just didn’t know which one of our new birthday designs for fall it would be since we had sent several samples of both girls and boys birthday outfits.
So which one was chosen?Tossed Birthday Numbers! This fun boys birthday outfit is classic yet funky at the same time. The striped pants are in classic rich fall colors with an unexpected dash of whimsy with their contrasting hem of retro tossed numbers in blue. A matching fitted style shirt in chocolate brown has a large scale number applique made from the blue tossed numbers fabric with decorative top stitching in brown for added style. The shirt is custom made and available with numbers 1 through 8 appliques.

Here’s a peek at the feature for those who don’t subscribe to this great mag.
Yesterday’s mail was the best! We received our summer issue of BABY COUTURE magazine and it was even more of a treat than usual. Gracing pages 54 and 59 were two ensembles from liliputians!

On page 54 is the liliputians Peacock Parade Dress. One of our favorites and best sellers, this vibrantly hued dress is almost sold out. So you better hurry! On page 59 is the liliputians Beatnik Tiki Outfit for boys. The appliqued shirt has a silly tiki face sure to make your little guy smile and the reversible pants come in a funky, retro print.
