Yummy yummy in our pretend tummies. Handcrafted play food from Child’s Play Crochet is here and being served up in the liliputians boutique. Handmade in the USA (by a talented Mama/artist in green Vermont to be exact), these unique designs are whimsical, realistic, durable, washable and just plain FUN! This realistic crocheted food makes for great play time, a welcome addition to any preschool and kindergarten classrooms, unique party favors, birthday gifts, room decor or just something fun because it’s Tuesday!
So what’s on the menu? There’s something for all little appetites from a healthy lunch of a pbj sandwich and strawberries, a crunchy snack of crudité to a splurge of a cheeseburger with French fries or a fun pizza in your choice of toppings. Our favorite is the bacon and eggs.
And of course, everyone wants to save room for those yummy desserts like chocolate chip or sugar cookies, chocolate dipped strawberries, muffins (in chocolate chip, blueberry or cranberry flavors), and mini and jumbo cupcakes complete with sprinkles (choose from chocolate or vanilla cakes with chocolate, vanilla or strawberry frosting). The cupcakes can be purchased individually or even as a set of 6 complete with mini muffin tin. Mmmmmmm . . . deliciously perfect goodness that’s hard to just stop at one. But go ahead, because these sweet treats are calorie free!

Her designs are made from high quality silver and are fine pieces of jewelry that can be worn every day.
Liliputians is thrilled to be the newest retailer of Shelly’s custom designs. After receiving one of her bracelets as a gift from dear friends, I was hooked. I’ve since had to buy myself a necklace to match as well as one for my daughter so she can be like Mama.
The quality of the piece is immediately apparent as all jump rings, clasps and other tiny pieces are securely soldered (something that isn’t the case with most necklaces as my jewelry box of broken chains will attest to). Then there are the hand-molded and hand-cast charms that are integrated into the chain itself. These charms are so detailed with all their stamping and engraving. They can even be personalized, such as my necklace which has a girl charm engraved with my daughter Lily’s name. Add several of the boys and girls for an amazing gift for Grandma.

We feel that BASEBALL OLD SCHOOL STYLE set “hits it out of the park!” This fun applique outfit has just the right amount of nostalgia with its handcut, retro baseball applique of players in the dugout and grandstands on the relaxed fit pants. Matching light blue shirt is a homerun (also available on chocolate brown or black) with its applique of players in the dugout.
OLD SCHOOL TATTOOS is another new boys outfit with a retro feel. But this one has a tough Sailor Jerry vibe with its flash art tattoos . . . tattoos that would make any biker proud! This outfit starts with a funky shirt with four different tattoos (shark, dice, horseshoe and heart & roses with “Amor”) that have been appliqued onto the front and back and shoulder of the black tee (available in fitted girl style or loose fit boys style). Coordinating board shorts are a comfy loose fit style that’s perfect for the playground, a game of ball, skateboarding, or doing the stray cat strut! Made from the vintage tattoo print with a coordinating bandanna (make that badanna!) print with skulls and cross bones. They are loaded with details - contrasting waist band, pockets from contrasting fabric, faux fly, and constrasting hem that can be worn cuffed or uncuffed.
Oh and don’t forget the fun DICE & JACKS board shorts. Made in the same style as the Old School Tattoo or Trains & Railroad Tracks board shorts, they are funky, retro and tough all at the same time. They go great with the Pirate Jolly Roger shirt, Super Kid initial or birthday shirts as well as the Varsity Birthday number shirt.
Jewelry designer Pink Papillon has created a new Mother’s Necklace design and I’m thrilled to be able to offer it in the liliputians boutique. This two-tone creation consists of a texturized vintage brass pendant with an overlapping, smaller silver one. Both are hand stamped in her custom girlie font letters with the baby’s name and birth date and hangs from a 24 inch vintage brass chain. These are limited edition and one of a kind creations that are the perfect gift for a new mother.
Although there is a quite large selection of birthday outfits in the liliputians boutique, custom orders are always welcome. Created special for a customer, the newest liliputians’ creation turned out so cute we had to add it to our offerings.
Birthday Cupcake Party Stripes is a vibrant outfit that is “all girl” with its pretty pink palette. The fun shirt has several overlapping appliques; the birthday number of your choice made from colorful striped fabric with decorative aqua blue accent stitching and the same number of cupcakes each complete with a little birthday candle. The coordinating pants (available in capri or full length styles) are made from a hot pink, whimsical fabric print of cupcakes, balloons, stars, streamers, confetti, and presents of course. 
A contrast cuff of the striped fabric with decorative aqua blue accent stitching gives them the perfect finishing touch.
A fun new summertime birthday outfit was just added to the liliputians boutique. BIRTHDAYS & SURFBOARDS is a fun board shorts and tee outfit that was created special for a customer. I liked the end result so much that I’ve decided to add this custom design so it’s available to all. Consisting of a boxy-fit tee in pale blue that’s appliqued with the birthday boy’s special number and the same number of surfboards. Paired with it are a pair of loose-fit board shorts in black with side panels of surfboard fabrics. It’s a special outfit that’s comfy, different and perfect for your birthday beach boy!
