A fun new summertime birthday outfit was just added to the liliputians boutique. BIRTHDAYS & SURFBOARDS is a fun board shorts and tee outfit that was created special for a customer. I liked the end result so much that I’ve decided to add this custom design so it’s available to all. Consisting of a boxy-fit tee in pale blue that’s appliqued with the birthday boy’s special number and the same number of surfboards. Paired with it are a pair of loose-fit board shorts in black with side panels of surfboard fabrics. It’s a special outfit that’s comfy, different and perfect for your birthday beach boy!
Say aloha to summer fun in this fun and colorful hula girl themed summer outfit. Comfy, colorful, whimsical and unique it’s enough to make you want to have a luau just for the occasion!
The appliqued shirt has a detailed applique of a smiling hula dancing girl complete with lei, fringed “grass skirt” and yellow ribbon rose hair corsage. The coordinating pants are made in a colorful print of hula girls and tropical flowers and foliage. They are are a wide leg style with olive green ribbon fringe decorating the bottom hem. Availabe in capri or full-length styles.
We have a thing for polka dots here at liliputians. Doesn’t matter what size or color, the dottier the better! So it’s not surprising to see new dotty designs popping up to match our dotted oldies but goodies.

More scrumptiously cute, fresh-baked fashions have been cooked up in the liliputians kitchen! Our boutique is brimming with cupcake clothing designs and cupcake barrettes so we figured we HAD to offer some cupcake bags to complete the mix.
The new liliputians cupcake bags are perfect for little AND big girls. I know that I have already broken in my BAKE CUPCAKES NOT WAR shopper tote bag with my daily trips to the post office, grocery store and other assorted non-stop, mom-type chauffering and errand running. Lily has all her “treasures” safely stored inside her hand crocheted, strawberry pink and chocolate brown cupcake purse and MUST bring it along on all of our daily adventures. So we can vouch for both of these fabulous bags. We love them and know you will too!
More summer fashions have arrived with fluttering butterflies, hooting owls and swimming whales as their inspiration. Full of color and whimsy, these new pants sets all are perfect for spring, summer and even fall with their option of long or short sleeve shirts and capri or full length pants.
Bijoux Butterfly is a pretty pants set made from pretty butterfly print fabric with gilded silver accents throughout and sky blue polka dots at the cuff. The matching sky blue shirt has gilded butterfly appliques on the front, back, sides and shoulder. Silver thread makes it even more special.
Brown Owls on Pink is a vibrant pants set with a mod vibe. Brown owls decorate the pink peasant top along with stylized lime green foliage. Details such as a shirred empire waist, ruffled sleeves & sweetheart neckline and contrasting hems make the shirt extra special. The matching striped pants come in a colorful palette of lime green and yellow with owl and foliage appliques on the front.
Dotty Whales is a fun outfit that screams summer with its bright colors, red white and blue color scheme, and water motifs. Spring is almost here (although you’d never tell that be the arctic temperatures in NYC of late) and we’re ready at liliputians! New warm weather designs are being added almost daily to the liliputians boutique. The latest of the new fashions are two mix and match outfits called How Does Your Garden Grow?
The skirt set is essentially two outfits in one with two very different looks. The full 50s style circle skirt (with a twist) is fully reversible; a hot pink and bubblegum pink damask print on one side and a pink and off-white retro print depicting silhouettes of children at play. Contrasting pink hem is seen on both sides. The matching shirt is simple and sweet with a touch of whimsy. An applique in the damask fabric is the silhouette of a little girl with watering can. Hot pink ruffled edges compliment the waist and sleeves (which are availabe in long, short or 3/4 length).
The pants set consists of the same girl with watering can shirt and is paired with the most exquisite wide leg pants. Pants have a slight flare and ruffled bottom hem. What makes them so special is the garden of hand crocheted flowers made by grandma. Each blossom is unique and one of a kind.
A spot of tea . . . let them eat cake, birthday cake that is!
The newest liliputians birthday outfits and dress are all about cakes and pastries and strawberry goodness with teapots and doilies and polka dot roses. Yummy, sweet and a timeless treat!
There are three coordinating Dotty Roses Tea Party outfits to choose from; a fun pants set, a skirt set, and appliqued dress. The pants and skirt sets both come with a dotty roses number shirt that has either ruffled edges or sweet ribbon rose accents and skirt and pants with contrasting damask print hem. The dress has almost too many details to list - fully lined bodice, stretchy straps, appliqued band of roses at the empire waist, ruffled bottom with decorative stitching at the bottom hem and an applique of sweet tea party treats.
To top it all are several fun pairs of matching barrettes. Choose Red Roses on Pink, Teapots in Red and White, or Red and Pink Candy Stripes. Yummy!
