For Cinco de Mayo there are several Mexico inspired sets for girls in the liliputians boutique.

Check out the Senoritas Set, a pretty appliqued tank with funky ruffled capris made from pin-up senoritas print fabric. There are also the perennial favorites, the numerous Frida Kahlo inspired Mommy & Me designs and folklorico collection of decoupaged denim. The newest one of the bunch, is the loteria themed capri set entitled Habla Español.

We’d like to introduce the newest liliputians retailer, Baby and Me Couture.

Baby and Me Couture is an online boutique with lots of unique offerings. Jessica, the shop’s owner, has found all sorts of stylish and fun finds for little ones and their mommies. In addition to selling some exclusive liliputians designs (the French Cafe Girls Dress Set is only available through Baby and Me Couture), they also have some great gift items like the selection of baby music (think Nirvana, Coldplay, U2, Led Zeppelin and more transformed into lullabye music).

Occasionally when we get enough customer requests and if fabric permits, liliputians will offer a past design again. This is the case with the Folklore Fiesta summer set. So, it’s back and colorful as ever (in very limited supply)!

The swing top is so loaded with details, lots of ruffled edges and ribbon accents. The coordinating bottoms come in your choice of bloomer shorts, cropped bloomers, or full length pantaloons. Available as a set, with the optional kerchief, or as separates. Get yours before they’re gone for good!

For those who also suffer from serious bag fetishes, there is help in sight. Bagadoodle.

Bagadoodle is an online boutique offering handmade purses (as well as the most gorgeous quilted belts, jewelry, aprons & other goodies) from indie designers. I recently discovered the site and wanted to share it with my style savvy readers who appreciate quality goods that aren’t mass produced.

Oh, and best of all, the admiration is mutual. Bagadoodle has a blog and included a nice little write up on liliputians the other day. Featured was the Birthday Cakes Set as well as Folklore Fiesta Set and some other past liliputians’ designs.

After much searching and testing, we finally found the perfect children’s shoes. Liliputians NYC is thrilled to be offering them in our online children’s boutique.

So what were we looking for in our search? Shoes that were stylish, lightweight yet still durable, and easy to put on and off. They absolutely had to have flexible rubber soles and breathable leather uppers. We also wanted something unique and in colors that would compliment most liliputians NYC clothing. What we found were Tipsie Toes. These Mary Jane style shoes are just too cute! They not only have all these characteristics, but are reasonably priced too.

Lily has been testing her pairs of Lola and Emily Tipsie Toes and they have really held up well. The fact that they can be dressed up or down so easily is a selling point with me. Lily just likes them; so much that when she first got them she refused to take them off at bedtime!  Oh and don’t let me forget to mention that TipsieToes is a mompreneur company.

Candy Plum is a hip boutique that showcases the latest creations of clothing and accessory designers and artists from all over the world. This fun little store is located in Queens. In Astoria to be exact. It’s packed to the brim with one-of-a-kind and unique designs and well worth the trip to this borough.

Candy Plum has had a great response to their ladies clothing. So good, that some of their customers have requested the addition of children’s clothing. That’s where liliputians NYC comes into play! Liliputians was invited to be one of the labels they will carry. Starting this week, Candy Plum will sell children’s clothing as well.

I just got back from personally delivering over a dozen liliputians girls summer and birthday outfits and barrettes made specifically for their store. I got a sneak peek at the other offerings and was really impressed with the gorgeous handcrafted couture.

A visit to Candy Plum in Astoria will now guarantee that your little one will be dressed in style.

Nolé Style and Beauty is a luxurious and gorgeous new web site that showcases elite designers and artisans from all over the world. Inclusion on the site is by invite only, ensuring that visitors will only be viewing quality handcrafted goods. In addition to the main Nolé site, there is a blog with product reviews and in Feburary Nolé is launching the online magazine Nolé Mi.

Although liliputians NYC is not a member of Nolé, we were tickled to discover that one of our creations is currently featured in their Valentine’s Gift Guide. The Sweetest Heart spotlights four items in each of its eight categories, making it easy to find that perfect gift for your sweetie quickly. If you click on Apparel, you will find liliputians NYC’s Vargas Inspired Retro PIN-UP Decoupaged Denim Jeans for Ladies.

Nolé is a site to watch and an indulgence for style savvy shoppers. We love the look, the products and their motto. “You work hard. Look fabulous. Indulge yourself in Style and Beauty. NOLÉ.”

As a small business owner, when I need something new I always first look at the designs from other indie business and designers. That was how I found Yatta.

The first ever Aspen Swag Bag was given out to celebs visiting Aspen this holiday season and liliputians NYC was thrilled to be part of the fun. Each bag was filled with unique items and goodies from several indie designers and businesses.

So what did each Aspen Swag Bag recipient receive? All the yummy items were in an eco-friendly OlovesM bag exclusively created for the event. Filling the bag was swag from Growing Up With Style, Berit Designs, Weekend Jewelry, Tutti Fruity Designs, Laboratoire Remède, Rosaries and Jewelry by Laura, Larabar, AYU International, Spa Systems, Orange Peel Baby, Artful Sentiments, Fête, and last but not least, liliputians NYC (a fun pair of dolly barrettes).
